 James Rocall 

James Rockall

Mr. James Rockall has been the Managing Director of the World LP Gas Association since August 2004. He is responsible for leading the organisation, ensuring that the Association delivers on its Mission Statement and delivers value to all WLPGA members. James has a strong energy and business development background having worked for nine years for Shell International in project management and business development in The Netherlands and Venezuela. Prior to joining the WLPGA in July 2003 as Director of Market Development, James worked for two years for the global energy group ALSTOM SA as an e-Business Director. He is a Chartered Chemical Engineer with a Masters degree from the University of Nottingham in the UK and an MBA from the Institute of Management Development in Lausanne, Switzerland.

    
 Michael Kelly 

Michael Kelly

Mr. Michael Kelly is Director of Market Development and Deputy Managing Director at the WLPGA. He brings a multi-cultural touch to his role because of his experience working throughout the world. Michael spent 5 years working for the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC), an organisation which is the voice of world business, championing the global economy as a force for economic growth, job creation and prosperity. He was responsible for the energy and environment policy portfolio and led business delegations in UN level negotiations on topics in this area. Before the ICC, Michael Kelly has lived and worked in the UK, Sweden, Taiwan, Japan, Italy and the US. Living in so many different countries provides him with an understanding of different cultures and ways of working. Michael’s role is to look for new opportunities for LP Gas, both in the developing world and in more mature markets. He acts as the interface between the industry, development agencies, intra governmental bodies, such as the UN and the NGO community.
     
   

David Tyler

Mr. David Tyler joined the World LP Gas Association team in March 2009 as Director, Technology & Business Practices. His primary role will be to further consolidate the World LP Gas Association’s programs on innovation and to drive the global Autogas initiative, including working closely with industry members on the GLOTEC (Global Technology Network) and GAIN (Global Autogas Industry Networks) Committees. He will also be responsible for the Asian/Pacific membership group. He brings with him a deep experience of the LP Gas industry on a global scale after working 25 years with Shell International. In 1996, David established his own LP Gas consultancy business in Australia and since then has successfully undertaken strategic projects in Latin America, Europe, the Middle East, North Africa, Asia and Australia. David has lived and worked in many countries including  the United Kingdom, Saudi Arabia, Indonesia, Australia, Hong Kong and China which will reinforce the global dimension at the WLPGA.

 Armando Viçoso

  After his Master Science in Mechanical Engineering, Mr. Armando Viçoso worked a few years in the car industry and in 1980, was recruited by Shell Portuguesa for the LPG engineering department.
In Portugal, from 1980 until 1994, he passed around the main areas of the LPG business as, engineering, maintenance, bulk business, reticulated systems, depot operations, Quality (Certification ISO 9000), HSE (Health, Safety & Environment), procurement  and LPG Marketing  & Image.
Then, he was invited to participate in a very small team to design, build and launch a very new and innovative small size cylinder (The Cube). He had to moved to France and spent 3 really very enthusiastic years.
From 1997 until 2005 different experiences in the LPG business, with a new entrance in Brasil, the construction of the Shell Global LPG business structure, as technical manager for the LPG business in America’s, the search and development of the LPG portfolio, the HSE Management  System implementation in different areas of the world as auditor and in 2005 as Competence Development Manager with the worldwide responsibility of building the LPG competence modules and implementing the training.
In 2005 hejoined the Repsol company, again and always in the LPG business, managing  the technical coordination between the different countries (specially on South America), developing and identifying best practices, looking for synergies and increasing the communication between the different business unities along the Operational & Distribution chain.
In August 2009 he has joined the WLPGA, to bring an important added value for “Energising the Future” of the worldwide LPG business.
    

 Nicki Allitt

  na Ms Nicki Allitt is the WLPGA Global Communications Manager.  She is responsible for the management of all global internal and external communication.  She brings more than 14 years communications experience across various industries including; oil and gas, tourism, and media broadcast, along with extensive international experience throughout her truly global roles. She spent five years working for Shell International in The Netherlands and was responsible for the development of CEO communications to 110,000 employees globally, as well as delivering communication skills training for senior leaders and line managers. Further international experience includes Communications Manager for Burj Al Arab in Dubai, the world’s only seven star hotel, responsible for corporate communications, media relations, PR and marketing activities.  Nicki also worked on the Sydney 2000 Olympic Games for the Seven Television Network Australia and was responsible for both internal and external communications.  She holds a Bachelor of Arts, journalism, marketing and graphic design qualifications.

Esther Assous

Ms. Esther Assous joined the WLPGA team in October 2007. She is responsible for various communications projects including the coordination of the Executive Brief, Autogas Updates, The Voice and more. She is a multi-lingual Dutch citizen speaking both English and French fluently. Ms. Esther Assous joins WLPGA with 12 years experience in marketing and communications. She has a varied background having worked as office manager for the French Chiropractic Association, for Price Waterhouse Coopers in Luxemburg and for Schlumberger in Paris. She has a Masters Degree in European Studies from the University of Amsterdam and a Bachelor in marketing.

Laurence Poret

 Ms. Laurence Poret graduated in languages (English and Spanish) at La Sorbonne. She spent more than 20 years with the Paris subsidiary of an American Human Resources consulting firm in various jobs. She specialized in company opinion and compensation surveys. She contributed to the organization of several large seminars involving top executives for client companies. She joined WLPGA in 2005 as Office Manager. She is in charge of all administrative matters including members support, accounting, personnel, suppliers, website and organization.
 
 
 
 
    
    

Stephan Deutscher

  Mr. Stephan Deutscher joined the WLPGA team in July 2010 as a recent graduate of the American University of Paris in International Politics and Economics. As a Communication Coordinator he assists in the successful coordination of all global internal and external communication as well as in the organization of the annual Forum. He is a multi-lingual German citizen with international work and living experience that includes Costa Rica, the United States of America, Belgium and France.
