GAIN is a very important network within the World LP Gas Association because it works to build markets for clean, safe and efficient Autogas through the global Autogas community.
We are active in developing different platforms to facilitate exchange and knowledge sharing on best practices within the Autogas sector, learning from different global initiatives and pinpointing common areas of work for both WLPGA members and external stakeholders. The network’s ultimate goal, however, is to work together with all automotive stakeholders to demonstrate the benefits of LP Gas as an automotive fuel on many levels and in particular in terms of emissions, efficiency and health perspectives.
The network gathers and monitors Autogas news and information and disseminates these worldwide to members and decision makers.
As new chairman, my own vision for GAIN focuses on two simple words: communications and marketing! We know the benefits of LP Gas as an automotive fuel and we must share this further externally with consumers, decision makers, and car manufacturers.
I want GAIN to engage further with the global automotive industry and decision makers all over the globe and with WLPGA members to enhance the use of Autogas worldwide because of its benefits for the environment. We want to focus on meeting those players that have a huge impact on our industry looking forward. It is pertinent also that we include the WLPGA equipment manufacturer members in these initiatives – they are also key players.
We know that Autogas is a unique fuel that offers value to consumers and to the environment. We have to convey this everyday in everything we do.
