Price
The key factor driving Autogas use is the pump price compared to other transport fuels. It is half the price in most regions.
End-user Autogas prices at the pump are determined by the bulk price (import, ex-refinery or ex-processing plant) of LP Gas, the distribution and retail mark-up (including costs and profit margins) and government pricing and taxation policies.
Margins differ among countries and regions according to the degree of competition between distributors and, in some cases, government margin or price controls.
