World LP Gas Association Update
The World LP Gas Association announced record membership in 2009 with 13 new companies from around the globe joining the association.
The WLPGA Board unananimously approved to propose to the General Assembly that Anders Anderson from Kosan Crisplant and Masakazu Sato from LPG Centre of Japan join the Board.
The Board unanimously recommended proposing to the General Assembly that Kimball Chen be reelected to the Board of the association following his completion of a first three-year term. Kimball Chen would retain his position as First Vice-President. It also recommended the proposal to the General Assembly of Pedro Jorge to the position of Vice-President.
In May, Deyo Adeshina of Strategic Energy Ltd, Nigeria joined the Industry Council and Anders Anderson, Kosan Crisplant joined in October 2009.
Michael Hoare received the Distinguished Service Award (DSA) this year for his commitment and passion over the years.
