Innovation from Aygaz: Autogas with Additive in Turkey

Turkey’s leading LP Gas company, Aygaz, launched the country's first ever Autogas with additive, Aygaz Euro LPG+ and it has been available since the beginning of June in all of Aygaz Autogas filling stations.
Some 4 years of research and development carried out by Aygaz proves that a distinctive additive can improve the results of LPG used as an automotive fuel. It also increases vehicle acceleration, reduces fuel consumption, and decreases Carbon Monoxide (CO) and Hydrocarbon (HC) emissions by cleaning the engine.
Results were also demonstrated to be accurate in tests conducted under the supervision of ITU OTAM (Istanbul Technical University - Automotive Technologies Research and Development Center).
Aygaz’s primary goal is to offer products of the highest quality and newest technology to consumers. We strongly believe that it has opened a new phase in the Turkish Autogas sector.
ITU OTAM tests proved that the additive of Aygaz Euro LPG+ clears and prevents the accumulation of dirt in the engine. The test results justify that Aygaz Euro LPG+ is more efficiently combusted, leading to significant improvement in vehicle performance as well as in the reduction of fuel consumption. The tests also showed that the detergent feature of Aygaz Euro LPG+ is even effective after consumption of 10 consecutive tanks of Aygaz Euro LPG+.

Further stages of the tests, where Aygaz Euro LPG, Aygaz’s preceding autogas product, and the Aygaz Euro LPG+ with additive were used by the same vehicle for 30.000 km., indicate that the new formula increases vehicle acceleration up to 5.13% and reduces fuel consumption as far as 3.9%. It is also revealed that Aygaz Euro LPG+ cuts back the hydrocarbon and carbon monoxide emissions up to 20.2% and 33.5%, respectively, thus creating a greater contribution to the environment.
