World LP Gas Association

The 22nd World LP Gas Forum is just around the corner and the Brazilian LP Gas industry is preparing for a very successful conference in Rio de Janeiro. An exciting program has been put together with experienced speakers and 55 different nationalities attending from all over the world.
We are especially looking forward to a special day that has been dedicated to Latin America as well as a dynamic exhibition and elegant social events. The Forum takes place from 7-9th October but the week of the 5th October is a major LP Gas week in Brazil.

Ultragaz, Brazil is inviting participants to take the opportunity of being in Brazil to visit one of the biggest LP Gas filling plants in Brazil  - the Ultragaz plant in Capuava, Sao Paulo on Monday 5th October 2009 between 09h30am and 1:30 pm. After the visit, enjoy a nice lunch at a traditional Brazilian Barbecue House.

As discussed in May at the previous GLOTEC meeting in Vienna, Austria, this plant is unique insofar as it fills more than 6,000 cylinders per hour, using 3 electronic carrousels. The following day, Tuesday 6th October, we have an exciting agenda for our GLOTEC meeting that includes a discussion on where our industry is going in the next 10 years with the Global Technology Roadmap project.

This visit to the Ultragaz plant in Capuava, Sao Paulo, is an excellent example of the innovation taking place within our industry and perfect to kick-start our GLOTEC meeting.

When: The visit will take place on Monday 5th October 2009 between 09h30am and 1:30 pm. After the visit, enjoy a nice lunch at a traditional Brazilian Barbecue House.

How: The plant is located in Capuava City, Sao Paulo. Bus shuttles are being organized from the city centre of Sao Paulo to the plant.
