World LP Gas Association on show in Atlanta

In the spirit of international cooperation, the NPGA joined forces with the World LP Gas Association (WLPGA) to host an International Resource Centre at the NPGA Southeastern Convention & International Propane Expo in Atlanta on 10-12 April 2010.

The convention and exhibition was well attended by industry representatives from the United States, Latin America, as well as an increasing representation from the rest of the world.

The WLPGA was invited to organise an educational session, delivered by Michael Kelly, Director Market Development and David Tyler, Director Projects and Business Practices from the WLPGA who highlighted the global trends in LP Gas (propane) focusing on global policies and international markets.  They also provided an update on the latest innovations that will impact the future of the LP gas industry, referring to the Global Technology Roadmap that was conducted by the WLPGA in 2009.  They also concluded by providing valuable tools and resources to develop businesses internationally.

The WLPGA also organised a caricature artist at the International Resource Centre whereby visitors could get their cartoon drawn as a memento from the exhibition and of the WLPGA.
