A new initiative has been introduced to increase the number of autogas vehicles among the 27,000 Japanese LP Gas retailers in May 2010.

Propane Road Show driving Green Message around the USA
Few would think of taking a 5.4L V-8 Ford F-250 on a cross-country tour as a way to promote green living but that’s exactly what Ferrellgas employees set out to do a year ago when they were among the first to add the ROUSH liquid propane injected Ford F-250 pickup truck to their alternative fuel fleet. Major Growth in France for 2010
The first half of 2010 has seen a spurt of growth for autogas in France - well ahead of previous years. More than 36,000 new autogas vehicles were registered by the end of May 2010. India

Indian Growth is Certain
Riding on the back of continued OE vehicle launches, with an estimated 1.5 million autogas vehicles in the country, India clocked an impressive growth rate of 28% last year. Autogas consumption touched 318,000 Tonnes in the year in India. Close to 900 stations are operational across the country, spread over 400 cities, making autogas the most widely available cleaner, alternate auto fuel. Netherlands Ford

Autogas and Ford in the Netherlands
Ford launched four models running on autogas in the Netherlands this year: Mondeo, Focus, C-Max and Fiesta. This is a positive signal to the autogas market in the Netherlands and represents a significant increase in interest from car manufacturers in the Dutch market.

Increasing Demand for Autogas in the US
Over the past few years, the propane industry has invested millions of dollars in developing new off - road applications and vehicles to primarily serve the fleet markets including commercial mowing, on-road medium duty, light duty, passenger car and school bus markets.
