In the spirit of international cooperation, the NPGA joined forces with the World LP Gas Association (WLPGA) to host an International Resource Center at the NPGA Southeastern Convention & International Propane Expo in Atlanta on 10-12 April 2010. The WLPGA was invited to organise an educational session, delivered by Michael Kelly, Director Market Development and David Tyler, Director Projects and Business Practices for the WLPGA who highlighted the global trends in propane focusing on global policies and international markets. Flogas UK has teamed up with Michelin star chef and TV personality, Marco Pierre White to launch HeavenChef, a new range of barbecues and portable grills. The range includes the MarcO-Grill which is available in two different sizes and features a built-in regulator and O-Gas canister. Stocking a range of leisure appliances, such as the new HeavenChef range, not only does it offer another revenue stream for LP Gas suppliers, but it also acts as a vehicle to increase sales of leisure cylinders this summer.

Key industry, government and other stakeholders will gather to discuss issues that impact the regional LP Gas market in this one day summit. Subjects to be examined include: A review of market opportunities in North Africa and how these areas will be influenced by government regulation, enforcement, pricing policies and infrastructure development An in depth examination of subsides and deregulation of LP Gas markets as well as government policies and enforcement in North African markets. | | | | | |  | | Rinnai Dry-Soft LP Gas Tumble DryerRinnai UK has launched its Dry-Soft Tumble Dryer available in an LPG powered model. The dryer is approximately 70% more powerful than an electric dryer, reducing drying time, energy consumption and has only one quarter of the greenhouse emissions of conventional electric dryers.
It also only weighs 27kg therefore can be easily mounted on the wall to save floor space. Rinnai says the domestic machine will cost an average of £35 - £50 per annum to run, providing a comparable saving of up to £300 per year for a heavy domestic user of an electric dryer. Increasing costs forced the initiative to be shelved but it has been resurrected as a result of demand from members.
