| | WLPGA attends the United Nations Climate Change Conference in Poznan, Poland - COP 14 WLPGA reports: Over eleven thousand participants attended the Poznan meetings from 1st - 12th December 2008, which both advanced international cooperation on a future climate change regime and brought progress on key issues. WLPGA also played a role in the Poznan Business Day organized by the World Business Council for Sustainable Development (WBCSD)and the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) in close cooperation with the UNFCC. The Poznan Business Day brought together close to 200 decision-makers from companies, governments, intergovernmental and non-governmental organizations to discuss perspectives for a post-2012 climate agreement.
