The World LP Gas Association (WLPGA), along with the Propane Education & Research Council (PERC), AmeriGas/UGI, and Ferrellgas, will be hosting a one-day North American/European Summit as part of a global series of gatherings with key industry business leaders.  The event ‘LP Gas: Exceptional Energy for North America and Europe’, will be held at the Ritz Carlton in Washington, DC on 9th February 2011. Delegates will exchange ideas, innovations and business opportunities and explore crucial issues to the LP Gas industry in this part of the world.

WLPGA Reports: by Michael Kelly, Director of Market Development, WLPGA 

COP 16 may have been overall a relatively low key series of meetings in Cancun last November, but with the presence of Michael Kelly and WLPGA First Vice President Kimball Chen, the WLPGA was assured of a strong and active presence during the two week period of conference and negotiations.

The Exceptional Energy rollout will be gaining traction throughout 2011 and beyond with a series of regional workshops and development of the existing library of branding materials available online.  Uniting the industry with this single brand will help clearly demonstrate the unique benefits of LP Gas in a consistent way and support the industry in working together to achieve common goals.
